8.11.6 Compliance Conclusion And Reassessment

The final comparison should identify the applicable standard, exposure category, limit or summation criterion, assessed result, uncertainty treatment, and margin. Exceeding a reference level does not necessarily mean that a basic restriction has been exceeded; it may instead require a more detailed assessment of the relevant internal or surface quantity.

A compliance conclusion is conditional on the source configuration, operating limits, access conditions, and controls represented by the assessment. Where compliance depends on an exclusion boundary, power limit, interlock, shielding, work procedure, or time restriction, that control should be documented and verified. A result that depends on a control is not valid if the control is absent or ineffective.

Reassessment should be considered after changes to transmitter power, frequency, antenna type or position, beamforming configuration, duty cycle, simultaneous operation, site access, shielding, nearby structures, equipment condition, or the applicable exposure standard.
