RF risk assessment combines a technically sound exposure assessment with the people, tasks, operating states, and control failures that may affect safety. Compliance with the applicable exposure limits must be established independently of any qualitative risk score. A documented assessment then supports selection of controls, assignment of responsibilities, definition of access conditions, and timely review when the installation or work changes.
