10.2.8 Summary

The principles of RF radiation safety management provide the foundation for an effective organizational RF safety program. Protection of people, worker consultation, systematic risk management, the hierarchy of controls, defined responsibilities, competent personnel, verification, documentation, and continuous improvement work together to keep RF-emitting equipment safe throughout its life. The program is implemented through one or more RF Radiation Safety Plans with clearly defined scopes.
