7.8 TAKING UP THE CUDGEL
Throughout this book we have gained considerable experience through investigations of systemic, dynamic and complex risks. Making explicit the nature of risks has led us to an appreciation of those risks in a way that could not have been developed without many years of experience.
We are now equipped with a comprehensive set of systems thinking skills. We are now much more likely to be able to build the situation awareness we need to make highly effective decisions. Situation awareness is now more than jargon; it is a way of being in touch with the world. We will never view familiar, normal problems the same way again.
