Systemicity

Systemicity is a term used by Checkland (1999) to describe the complex, dynamic behaviour exhibited by systems, or systems-of-systems. Checkland does not suggest we attempt to contemplate whole systems, but that we acknowledge the complexity of the world and that the world is whole. The notion of systemicity is complementary to weltanschauung. Also see weltanschauung.
