Participatory management
Kurt Lewin had an important core principle: we are likely to modify our own behaviour when we participate in problem analysis and solution and likely to carry out decisions we have helped make (Weisbord, 1987: 89). Opportunities for effective participative management are enhanced through group model building which facilitates double-loop learning in very effective ways.
