Air Force Satellite Communications System (AFSATCOM)

The Air Force Satellite Communications System (AFSATCOM) is not a system in its own right but utilises dedicated channels on other military satellites to disseminate Emergency Action Messages (EAMs). On the FLTSATCOM satellites, all twelve 5 kHz channels and the one 500 kHz channel have been dedicated to AFSATCOM.
